Anne Brady Perron brings well over a decade of Washington experience and was brought on as Crossroads Strategies’ first Democratic hire. Perron has served as a senior Congressional staffer, advocated for a top trade association and worked as a political operative in the Democratic Party and on two Presidential campaigns.
Ms. Perron has proven herself as a top-notch advocator on complex policy issues and brings strategic vision with a proven ability to oversee ambitious legislative agendas with a keen focus on financial services and technology.
Most recently, Ms. Perron served as a Senior Advisor on the Hillary for America presidential campaign with a focus on Surrogate & Principle Trips. Ms. Perron’s extensive experience includes working on Capitol Hill as Deputy Chief of Staff to former Rep. Mark Schauer (D-Mich.). In this role she ran the D.C. office, legislative team and was active with the New Democrat Coalition and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) as well as being the lead staffer on the Presidential Export Council focused on U.S. trade performance. She transitioned back to Capitol Hill after serving as a vice president in the government relations department of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB).
Prior to joining NAB, Ms. Perron worked as a Finance Director at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, working for former Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.) and was a member of the team that helped the Democrats win control of the U.S. House of Representatives in 2006. She began her career in Washington, D.C. working on political campaigns including presidential and statewide campaigns and continues to be an active fundraiser for the party.
A native of Washington State, Ms. Perron has a Masters Degree in Government and Political Communication from Johns Hopkins University and received her undergraduate degree from Pepperdine University and has also spent time living and working in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
